Helping Hand was one of the first characters that started to appear frequently in my work. He became part of the pantheon of deities that constituted my creation myth. It represents care, support, and the voice of reason. HH will do everything it can to prevent you from making mistakes or denying your purpose.

Mickey Mouse? Yes. Hamburger Helper? Sure. What I realized is that this shape is just easier to draw a lot when you are making an animation. He was bound to be a star by necessity.
